Farhana Ahmed is working as urban and regional planner in the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS), a public trust and research center under the Ministry of Water Resources, Bangladesh. She completed her bachelor degree in Urban Regional Planning from Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology (BUET) and MSc in Environmental Planning from UNESCO-IHE, the Netherlands. She has been working for nearly 10 years in the fields of urban planning, regional planning, environmental studies, disaster management, climate change and social studies.
