Development economist, is director of the Policy and Operations Evaluation Department (IOB) of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and professor at the Centre for International Development Issues Nijmegen (CIDIN) of Radboud University. Fields of expertise include impact evaluation of development interventions, poverty reduction, farmer organisation, rural development, and the role of smal and medium enterprises in (inter)national trade networks.
