Babs Ates works as a Junior Knowledge Broker at the Food & Business Knowledge Platform (F&BKP), one of the five Knowledge Platforms initiated by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign affairs. She is the content manager of the F&BKP Knowledge Portal and works on general knowledge communication activities.
Babs is currently enrolled in the Advanced Master in International Development (AMID) programme of the Radboud University Nijmegen. Before she joined this programme, she completed a Master in Development and Rural Innovation and a Bachelor in Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University. For her master thesis she gained field experience in the field of food and nutrition security in Benin.
