He’s also Thematic Leader on Gender and Entrepreneurship for the World Bank’s Africa Region Gender Innovation Lab. Francisco's main areas of expertise are linked to entrepreneurship, MSMEs, innovation, competitiveness, financial inclusion, and gender. He leads private sector development projects in fragile countries in Africa and various research studies on entrepreneurship.
