Foley Conor

Conor Foley has worked in over a twenty conflict and post-conflict zones for a variety of UN and non-governmental human rights and humanitarian organizations. His latest book The Thin Blue Line: how humanitarianism went to war was published by Verso in 2010. He has also recently edited a book, Another System Is Possible: Reforming Brazilian Justice and is currently working on the second edition of a manual Protecting Brazilians against Torture. He is a Visiting Professor at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC Rio), a Research Fellow at the Human Rights Law Centre, University of Nottingham and a Visiting Fellow at the University of Essex.
