Dr. Dalia Ghanem-Yazbeck is a research analyst at the Carnegie Middle East Center. She is a political scientist and a sociologist with expertise in political violence, Jihadism and radicalism in the Arab world with a focus on Algeria. She also works on gender issues notably on women and their participation in jihadist groups as well as women in the military.
