Klaas Molenaar is a hybrid entrepreneur, consultant and academic crossing borders in search for new ways to apply entrepreneurship and development concepts in society.
Klaas holds the position of Professor on Financial Inclusion and New Entrepreneurship at The Hague University of Applied Sciences and is founder and owner of Timpoc Consultants specialised in Entrepreneurship and MSME financing. He also is a co-founder of Timpoc Organics VoF, importing organic products from Peru, and he founded and chairs the SEON Foundation working on Entrepreneurship Development and Migration. In addition, Klaas serves on the board of directors of De Financiële Coöperatie, an imitative to setup a bank for and by people and has more than 40 years of experience in SME programmes. He holds an MA in Management Science from Rotterdam University and among other functions, has been a visiting researcher on Transnational Diaspora Entrepreneurship at DSV Stockholm University. Klaas partly lives in Peru.
