Eric Toussaint is the president of the CADTM Belgium (Committee for the Abolition of Third World Debt) and sits on the Scientific Council of ATTAC France. He is also senior lecturer at the University of Liège (Belgium), and holds a doctorate in political science from the universities of Paris VIII and Liège. He is author of The World Bank: A Critical Primer, Pluto, London, 2008; Glance in the Rear View Mirror. Neoliberal Ideology From its Origins to the Present, Haymarket, Chicago, 2012. He is also the co-author, with Damien Millet, of Debt, the IMF, and the World Bank: Sixty Questions, Sixty Answers, Monthly Review Books, New York, 2010.
