About Lund, Michael
Michael S. Lund is Senior Specialist for Conflict and Peacebuilding, Management Systems International Inc. (MSI) and Consulting Program Manager at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, D.C.. He is author of Preventing Violent Conflicts (USIP Press, 1996) and other publications that assess conflicts and conflict interventions in many countries, he has consulted for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the State Department, the World Bank, the United Nations Department of Political Affairs (UNDPA), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the EU, the Organization for Economic Cooperation Development (OECD), the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and several NGOs. He established the fellows program at the United States Institute of Peace and has taught at Johns Hopkins University, George Mason University, Cornell University and the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Lund holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and a B.D. from Yale University.
