About Rouille d'Orfeuil, Henri
Henri Rouillé d’Orfeuil is coordinator of the new campus for sustainable development within the Jardin tropical de Paris (Tropical Garden of Paris). Previously, he was deputy director of technical and scientific cooperation in the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and technical adviser to the Minister for International Cooperation and Development. He worked at the World Bank in the agricultural research unit and as head of international relations at the Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD). He was vice-president of the Global Forum on Agricultural Research (GFAR) and chair of Finansol and Coordination SUD, a federation of French NGOs. He has taught at several universities and is the author of a number of books. He holds a PhD in economics.
