About Tromp, Bart
Bart Tromp was special professor of the theory and history of international relations at the University of Amsterdam and visiting senior fellow at the Netherlands Institute for International Relations, Clingendael. He was also a member of the peace and security committee of the Advisory Council on International Affairs. He published several books on politics and society, a handbook on the science of politics, a chronicle of the war in the Balkans, and an analysis of the development of ideas of socialism in the Netherlands. Tromp died on 20 June 2007, at the age of 62.
