Cheshta Panday is Lecturer at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. She previously worked as a project editor for the Broker on the Post-2015 dossier. She was a researcher in the Policy Operations and Evaluation Department of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (IOB), and conducted evaluations about the Council of Europe and the European Union development cooperation in Africa. Cheshta studied Law in Utrecht and a minor in philosophy in Singapore. Her fields of interests are human rights, criminology, public policy and development.
The deadline for the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is approaching. A number of actors from the UN, regional organizations, academia, the private sector and civil society are involved in drawing up a post-2015 framework, which will formulate the future global development agenda.
