Íñigo Verduzco Gallo
Íñigo Verduzco Gallo is Senior Research Analyst at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). He has also worked as a consultant for the World Bank and as a trader/analyst for the Central Bank of Mexico. He holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and a Licenciatura in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
International trade can contribute to the creation of more and better jobs but not always, not for everyone, and not everywhere. Thirty years after the beginning of a global push for liberalization we are finally starting to understand the real costs of trade liberalization, and who bears them – workers.
