Patrick Messerlin is Professor Emeritus of economics at Sciences Po Paris and Senior Programme Associate with the Global Economics programme in the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies, European University Institute, Florence Italy. He is also serving as co-chair of the joint World Bank & UK Department for International Development Task Force on Global Finance and Trade Architecture. In the past, Messerlin was a special advisor to Mike Moore, WTO Director General, served as co-chair of the United Nations Millenium Development Goals Task Force on Trade for Development.
