Roger Tsafack Nanfosso
Roger Tsafack Nanfosso holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Economic Policy Management from Université d’Auvergne (CERDI, Clermont-Ferrand, France), a PhD in Business Economics and a Doctorate of State (“Advanced PhD”) in Labour Economics both from University of Yaoundé (Cameroon), and was ranked First at the Aggregation Contest in Economics in 2001. Knight of the French Academic Palms, he is Full Professor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Yaounde II and worked as a lecturer at several universities (including Universté Panthéon Assas Paris II) and as a consultant for international institutions such as Africa Capacity Building Foundation, ILO and AfDB. Areas of expertise include economics, microeconomics, labour and trade union economics, capacity building, corporate management and economic policy management.
In their stead, informal worker’s associations have assumed an important role, representing their increasing members in front of governments and the private sector. But how can unionization contribute to SME growth and employment?
