Sunil Suri
Sunil Suri is a Policy Officer at Saferworld where he works on the post-2015 development agenda focusing on peace, governance and justice issues and the perspectives of emerging powers. Prior to working at Saferworld, Sunil worked for the UK’s Department for International Development on security and justice issues and the UK Cabinet Office, where he helped to deliver the G8 Summit in 2013. Previously, he has also worked for The Carter Center in the United States focusing on negotiations between Sudan and South Sudan.
A difficult choice looms in the post-2015 debate between accepting a progressive but imperfect starting point for intergovernmental negotiations, and risking losing all the gains made so far.
