The website of the Food & Business Knowledge Platform has been launched. In the Platform, an open and independent initiative, representatives from international networks and organizations of businesses, science, civil society and policy come together.

The Food & Business Knowledge Platform (F&BKP) is a space for joint knowledge management, where knowledge is linked with policy and practice, and practices with research, and priorities of several research funds are set. An independent Steering committee supervises the Platform, that has been initiated by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Platform has the ambition to become the gateway to knowledge for food and nutrition security. Within the Platform members will jointly define the knowledge agenda and share, critically reflect on, generate, deepen and improve (interdisciplinary) knowledge on food and nutrition security. In this regard, the website will have an significant role to play in making knowledge work for practice and policy. Please, have a look at: http://knowledge4food.net/

As the Platform has just started to operate, the information on the website is still limited. For any information or suggestions concerning the website, or the F&BKP in general, please contact the Food & Business Knowledge Platform at info@knowledge4food.net
