Marion Biermans
Marion joined The Broker in January 2024, and will focus on expanding The Broker's portfolio in the fields of international peace and security. Marion has Master's degree in International Law focusing on law of warfare as well as a Master's in Humanitarian Assistance. Before joining The Broker, Marion worked for the United Nations Secretariat in various peacekeeping missions and Headquarters (DR Congo, Central African Republic, Guinea Conakry, Chile, Saudi Arabia and others), as well as having been seconded as national expert to Mali and Israel/Palestine by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her interests and expertise are in human rights, civil-military interaction, information gathering and sharing, as well as mission management and political analysis.
