Junior Knowledge Broker
Pilar Barrera
Pilar is a junior knowledge broker at The Broker. She is passionate about gender equality, women's human rights and feminism(s). Pilar holds a master degree in development studies from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), with a specialization in governance and development policy. Before coming to the Netherlands, Pilar worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, in the area of human rights and democracy. At The Broker, Pilar hopes to combine her experience to promote international development linking the information out there and the policies, programs and opportunities towards the promotion and defense of human rights.
