Feminist Foreign Policy
This project, led by The Broker, Women’s International Peace Centre, and Cordaid, aims to conduct a reality check of Feminist Foreign Policy (FFP) in fragile settings, specifically examining its assumptions, trade-offs, and local perspectives. The project seeks to enhance future interventions and ensure the effectiveness and relevance of supporting FFP, particularly in contexts with autocratic regimes.
Through this research, the project will explore how FFP can be realised by leveraging existing policy instruments that may not have a gender or feminist focus but can provide opportunities for transformative gender approaches. It will examine the intersection between FFP and social contracts in fragile settings, taking into account the unique challenges and dynamics present.
